Together with our growing community, we are now welcoming you at three locations, where we take care of every aspect of your dog’s needs.

Social Responsibility

We know that not every dog in Lithuania has a loving home. That is why we feel a responsibility to help those who need it most. At our centre, we always have at least one rescue dog staying with us. Here, they learn to live in a home environment, develop important social skills, and at the same time search for their forever home.

Liisa

Since my childhood in Finland, my family has owned a dog hotel, where various dog sports competitions were also organized. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but after moving to Lithuania, I found my true calling in animal welfare.

Together with like-minded people, we founded Pet Rescue Finland ten years ago. The organization’s mission is to support shelter animals in Lithuania and contribute to their well-being.

For this reason, one of the main goals of the Geri Namai Centre is clear: we want to help ensure that every dog in Lithuania has the opportunity to live a fulfilling life as a beloved companion and a valued member of the family.

The greatest joy in my home comes from three small dogs with very big personalities – Diesel, Honey, and Gnome. The fourth spot is always reserved for a foster dog from a shelter, either waiting to find a permanent home or requiring special care and support.

Dogs have held a special place in my life since childhood, and for more than 10 years I have dedicated my daily life and career to working with them. During this time, I have gained extensive hands-on experience managing a dog and cat shelter, working in a veterinary clinic, a pet supply store, and a pet boarding facility. I have also continuously expanded my knowledge through seminars and training courses focused on canine behavior, care, and welfare.

My greatest motivation is not only my love for dogs, but also the desire to create a place where they feel safe, relaxed, loved, and meaningfully engaged every day. I truly believe that through our work, we contribute to improving dog welfare and raising the standard of pet care.

Canine Care Specialist
Nika

My journey with dogs began through volunteering at an animal shelter. It was there that I realized I wanted to dedicate my life to animals, which led me to pursue studies as a veterinary technician.

Along the way, I adopted a dog named Mango from the shelter. Together, we faced many challenges, as he struggled with aggression issues from a young age. Training and learning about canine behavior became a part of my everyday life. This experience taught me a great deal about patience, building trust, and understanding the unique needs of each individual dog.

Today, my home is shared with two more wonderful dogs — Mirta, my senior companion, and the younger Fibė. Each of them enriches my life in their own way and reminds me how unique and special our four-legged friends truly are.

I love spending time outdoors with my dogs, especially on long walks. Whenever I have free time, you will most likely find us exploring forest trails and discovering new places together.

Dog Trainer
Vika

Dogs have been by my side since early childhood and quickly became a great passion of mine. However, it was my first dog, Zumbo — a Jack Russell Terrier — who opened the door to a deeper understanding of the canine world. His character taught me that dogs are unique individuals with emotions, personality, and a strong need for connection with humans.

Over time, this experience evolved into continuous learning — seminars, working with different trainers, training sessions, and a deeper understanding of canine behavior became part of my everyday life.

Today, I live with two dogs — Zumbo and Jerry (a Miniature American Shepherd). With them, I actively train in agility and continue to deepen my knowledge of dog behavior and daily training practice. Recently passing the Lithuanian Kennel Club dog trainer exam gave me more confidence and opportunities to grow in this field.

For me, the most important things are a warm bond with the dog, clarity, and consistent work — so that every dog feels loved, safe, and understood.

Canine Care Specialist
Luka

I started volunteering at an animal shelter in my teenage years, where I took my first steps into understanding dogs, their care, and their behavior. While volunteering, I not only cared for shelter animals but also provided foster care for dogs, which helped me better understand their needs, support their adjustment to new environments, and build a safe bond with humans.

More than 10 years ago, my family and I adopted a dog from a shelter who had aggression issues. We attended both private and group training sessions together, which gave me valuable knowledge about canine behavior, training, and the importance of patient, consistent work. This experience further strengthened my desire to work with animals and help them feel safe and understood.

I also provided dog care in my own home. This work allowed me to gain even more hands-on experience in caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, ensuring they had a calm, safe, and comfortable environment.

Play Coordinator
Jerry

Our hotel’s Head of Entertainment, whose main mission is to make sure every guest has as many fun and joyful moments as possible. Jerry has a natural talent for making friends with new arrivals, bringing dogs together for playtime, and ensuring that a great atmosphere lasts throughout the day.

You will usually find Jerry right where the action is happening – running, playing, and inviting others to join in. His energy is contagious, and even the calmest guests often find themselves joining the fun. His greatest talents include making new friends, encouraging activity, and professionally tiring out our four-legged guests until they are ready for a sweet evening nap. 🐕✨

What Pet Owners Say

We have been bringing Leon here once a week for over half a year now, and it is one of the best places we could leave him 🐾

The caregivers are very attentive and warm, and they genuinely love dogs, giving them a lot of attention. During the day, we constantly receive photos and videos, so we always see how Leon is doing, what he is up to, and how he spends his time — this gives us great peace of mind.

We really like that the dogs are not only cared for, but also stay active: they go on longer walks, play with friendly dogs, and a trainer works individually with each dog. It is clear that here they truly care not only about the dog’s safety, but also about their emotional well-being and development.

Most importantly, Leon always comes here willingly and happily 🥹 And for us, that is the biggest sign that we have found a place we can fully trust. Thank you for the care, love, and warmth you give to every four-legged friend ❤️

We are very happy that we chose individual consultations with Inga. Our rescued dog has a difficult past, which led us to certain behavioral challenges. I am sincerely grateful that we came here – Inga’s advice was truly valuable.

It has been two weeks since the consultation, and the issues we came in with have completely disappeared. She is an excellent specialist, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone facing dog behavior challenges. There are truly not many professionals like her.
